In 1852, Aigle (pronounced "Eagle") revolutionized the world of footwear by using rubber as its core material for boot manufacturing. Aigle Boots continue to be made by hand in Ingrandes, near Chatellerault France.
From preparation through to the finishing, each stage takes place under the watchful eye of specialists. First, the natural rubber mixs endows the boots with all the characteristics (suppleness, water-proofness, sturdiness, comfort, etc.). Then the parts are assembled by hand on aluminum last. The 3rd stage in the process involves vulcanization of the boots in an autoclave at 140 degrees to give them their definitive shape. Finally, each boot is carefully inspected to ensure that a high-performance, high-quality product is the end result!

It is conformatble, supple and retains its elasticity even in freezing tempuratures.
GOMMA PLUS� GOMMA PLUS� is a laboratory developed supple natural rubber mix designed for long-term resistance to extremal aggression such as the common problem posed by liquid manure. GOMMA PLUS� is also resistant to ozone and storage related ageing.
Neoprene� Lining Used to make wet suits, Neoprene� is undoubtedly the best insulating material known to man. High-performance material comprised of polyethylene foam enclosing micro air bubbles, Polyester lining.
Leather Lining Selected from the best full-grain leather, this material offers high standards of comfort coupled with excellent insulation. It absorbs perspiration and prevents feet from overheating on long walks.
